Be the Spark… This year I will be leading several different workshops at Ferry Beach Conference Center. For those of you who don’t know, Ferry Beach was born out of Universalism and over the years became a Unitarian Universalist Conference Center. Today it still holds our Unitarian Universalist values, but is now a secular conference… Read More »
Wonderings: A hopeful – and hopefully helpful blog for families and caregivers
Grief in Spring My mom passed away in May just before her birthday, which is why I often feel a lot of grief in the spring. I miss her, when things in my life change or exciting things happen, I still think, “I should call mom and let her know”. I know I am not… Read More »

Finding Joy “Discovering more joy does not, save us from the inevitability of hardship and heartbreak. In fact, we may cry more easily, but we will laugh more easily too. Perhaps we are just more alive. Yet as we discover more joy, we can face suffering in a way that ennobles rather than embitters.” –… Read More »
