The church has a very active Racial Justice Action Committee (RJAC).
RJAC has a monthly Film & Discussion Series. The free film series explores the lives and experiences of the “other” and expands our awareness of our neighbors as well as often marginalized individuals and groups. There is a lively discussion after each film.
RJAC also facilitates a monthly discussion group called "Embracing Racial Justice". RJAC meets monthly to plan these, and other, activities and actions.
Once a month on a Sunday RJAC facilitates a "Social Justice Moment", where a member of friend of the congregation shares a moment that inspired them to work for social justice.
