As June comes to a close and the “lazy days” of summer will soon be here, we know these summer days will likely be filled thoughts of FCU as we prepare for our second interim year and the possibility of calling our new Settled Minister in the spring of 2017. Knowing these FCU thoughts will generate “church work” we hope you will take time for relaxation, reflection, renewal and of course have FUN.
With our Sunday Worship services on hiatus you can be in community on Sunday morning by attending:
- The live streaming of GA Sunday Worship service on Sunday June 26 at 10:15 in the vestry. Per the UUA’s website site this is the largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd, Senior Minister of River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Bethesda, MD will lead this service.
- Summer TED Talk Gatherings on Sundays in July and August from 10 – 11 am.
- The Joint Summer Service on August 7 at 10 am here at FCU when we worship together with UUs from Stow-Acton, Harvard, Groton, Bolton, Hudson/Marlboro and Lancaster churches.
We hope you will check this blog throughout the summer as we approach our ingathering service on Sept 11 at 10:00 and start our 2016/2017 church year.
