Come, come, whoever you are – you are welcome here!
No matter your age, your size, the color of your eyes, your hair, your skin—you are welcome here!
No matter how you came here,
if you came alone, or with others—
you are welcome here!
No matter whom you love, or how you speak, or whatever your abilities – you are welcome here!
Whether you come with laughter in your heart, or tears in your eyes—you are welcome here!
If you come here with an open mind,
a loving heart, and willing hands,
then you are indeed welcome here! Melanie Morel-Ensminger
We all seek homes of many types and First Church Unitarian strives to welcome all who wish to find a spiritual home for themselves and their children. Whether you are returning or coming for the first time, we hope you will join us in your search at whatever stage it might be.
At our traditional Homecoming and Water Communion service on Sunday, September 10, we’ll welcome all ages with song, story, homily, and a mingling of waters, our symbols of memories, feelings, connections, and the places of our lives. Water, after all, is the first home for all living things, for the universe itself. BE SURE TO BRING A BIT OF MEANINGFUL WATER TO SHARE.
