Sunday online-only service: “Awkward: A Tale of Collapsing Corsets and Wayward Whipped Cream”

This Sunday continues the Soul Matters theme of “imagination” with FCU member Rev. Jackie Clement preaching! We plan to use YouTube Live for our service. Happy news – you no longer need to wait for the Sunday morning email for the worship service link! Simply go to http://youtube.com/FirstChurchUnitarianLittleton/live and the live video will come up! Usually the live video stream begins around 9:45, but there won’t be much to see until 9:56 or so when the gathering video starts.

Rev. Jackie’s sermon will be “Awkward: a Tale of Collapsing Corsets and Wayward Whipped Cream”. Description: Awkward stuff happens. It just does. Even to the sauvest, coolest, most graceful of us, awkward stuff happens. And when it does we often react with gut-wrenching sweaty-palmed speechless embarrassment. What possible good can come from those moments when social expectations and our own human frailties meet? Join us on Facebook Live as we consider the effects and opportunities of these spiritually challenging moments. The service will be led by FCU member Rev. Jackie Clement, with help from Monica Pilman.
