SPRING!
The hills and meadows are alive,
vibrant with colors rivaling
autumn’s robust, saturated display,
summer’s verdant lushness.
Promising buds and blossoms bloom in subtle shades of
green maize
yellow violet pink
chartreuse lavender
terra cotta coral magenta
as if a pointillist had adorned each limb and stem and blade.
The air is alive with The lake is laden with
darting swallows, flashing fish,
flitting May flies, dipping ducks,
gliding herons, garrulous geese,
clouds sailing briskly sun sparking briefly
past the sun. atop each wave.
Spring honors nature’s promise. Earth embodies itself.

Religious Education Calendar – May
5/7 & 5/14 – Primary/Elementary – “Love Will Guide Us” and Intermediate – “Spirit of Adventure”: Both groups will review the year, remember favorite sessions, do some favorite activities and games, and choose presentations for the upcoming RE Sunday.
5/21 – Children and Youth Sunday: This multigenerational worship service is presented by our children and youth and their teachers and advisors. Come honor them all. We will have a Bridging Ceremony for our graduating Senior High Youth.
5/28 – Memorial Day weekend: game day for all
