Welcome Children and Youth!
Children and youth are always welcome at First Church Unitarian!
Nursery care for infants and toddlers under age 3 is available for all
Sunday morning services, including designated Family Services. Plan on
arriving a bit early to sign in and settle your young ones in before
services begin. Greeters/ushers can assist you in locating the Nursery.
Children's Religious Education
Each Sunday, except for designated Multigenerational Family Services, after a brief
worship time children leave the sanctuary for their own program of
religious education, creative expression, and values formation. After
service parents locate their children in the lower level before joining
us for fellowship and refreshments in the Vestry.
Our Children's Religious Education
programs are in session mid-September through
mid-June. Children are welcome to join a class at any time throughout
Junior and Senior Youth Groups
Our Junior and Senior Youth Groups
offer young people a broad range of exciting activities
spiritual and moral growth and community projects.
Children not quite ready to leave parents
Children not ready to leave their parents are welcome to attend the
services. We only ask that you be mindful of your child's
attention span and ability to respect this time and space as set aside
for worship. Alternatively, you are welcome to accompany your child to
the RE program until your child is comfortable.
